libby-ferris-shopEver wanted to know how to arrange a beautiful flower display or keep your flowers alive for longer?

Libby Ferris Flowers is holding a free open day on Saturday 10th July to demystify flower arranging with a street-party style event – complete with bunting, cupcakes and Pimms.

The event kicks off with a children’s flower arranging session at 1.00pm, followed by face painting, seasonal demonstrations and discounted flowers throughout the afternoon.

The open day is being held at Libby Ferris Flowers, 81 Grove Road – five minutes from Norwich city centre.

Florist Libby Ferris is passionate about using natural, garden-inspired designs to make stunning displays, adding; “A lot of people don’t know how to arrange flowers or they lack confidence in knowing what to buy, so I’m hoping people will come along, have some fun and learn something new.

Not only do flowers look good – research shows they boost productivity and creativity.   In America, flowers are huge with everyone taking them to dinner parties as a gift and I’d like to see Norwich follow this trend.”

Libby’s open day includes;

  • 1-2 pm – children’s flower-arranging session
  • 1.30pm – 2.30pm – children’s face painting
  • 2-4 pm – barbeque and seasonal flower demonstrations
  • 4-5 pm – reduced flower offers
  • 5-6 pm – raffle of flower designs.
