Once upon a time...

We look forward to hearing your story.
Reflection

our story

Once upon a time there was a PR agency who wanted to do things a little differently.

Reflection PR was launched in 2009 to offer a range of PR activities with no long-term contracts; just a flexible, professional service.

From previous, not always satisfactory, experiences of using PR and Marketing agencies, this consultancy was born to offer a transparent way of working - hence the name, Reflection PR.

Our team are members of The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and Suzy is also a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) - the largest marketing community in the world.

We're extremely driven to achieve great results and we won Silver for Outstanding Small Consultancy in the CIPR's Pride Awards, East Anglia from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

What makes us tick? Take a look at our values.

Here's our story:

Suzy Pettican, Founder and Managing Director

Suzy Pettican With a talent for creating ideas, Suzy kicked off her career in event management fourteen years ago where she organised corporate golf days and weddings.

She studied with The Chartered Institute of Marketing before her love of writing saw Suzy specialise in PR and study with The Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

After a spell in Hertfordshire, Suzy returned to Norwich and worked her way up to Head of Marketing and Communications for one of the UK's largest national housing providers.

She founded Reflection PR in 2009; the same year she became a finalist for the CIPR's Outstanding Young Communicator award.

Catrina Laskey, PR Executive

Catrina Laskey Catrina loved writing stories when younger and initially wanted to be a journalist before PR beckoned her.

Aged nine, Catrina interviewed a Blue Peter presenter for her school magazine. 12 years on, she interviewed renowned 'dragon' Duncan Bannatyne for a business publication.

Completing her PR and Marketing degree at Lincoln University, she became a CIPR rep, encouraging students to find out more about PR. After university, Catrina learnt the ropes at a Norfolk PR agency before joining the Reflection PR team in 2011.

How to brief a PR agency
When looking for a PR agency, it’s important to provide a detailed PR brief as this helps them to understand your business so they can create an effective PR campaign.
